For whom this procedure is aimed
Micropigmentation of the eye line is most often performed for beauty purposes, for convenience and to save the time spent on make-up every day. After this procedure, you won’t have to worry about messy eye line or a dull look – your eyes will always look bright and expressive. The procedure not only makes your eyes more attractive, but also corrects naturally asymmetrical facial features. The procedure is suitable for people who have lost their eyelashes due to chemotherapy treatment of oncological diseases, as well as for people allergic to cosmetic products.
Procedure
Before the procedure, the micropigmentation master will listen to your expectations, assess the shape of your eyes and eyelids, your facial features, your skin type and draw a sketch. This will give you an idea of what the results will look like after the procedure before you start with the contour make-up. If the image you see does not meet your expectations, the sketch will be adjusted until we find the right option for you and you will have no complaints about the look you get. We will then select the pigment colour based on your wishes and the natural features of your face.
Depending on the sketch and the technique used, the eye line contouring procedure takes about 1-2 hours. During the procedure, the skin is treated with topical anaesthesia, so you won’t feel any pain during the procedure – only mild discomfort or tickling is possible.
During the procedure, the needles of a special device are used to precisely and evenly inject the pigmented dye into the skin layer of the epidermis at 0.3 to 0.8 mm.
Post-procedural period
The healing and recovery period after the micropigmentation procedure lasts up to 4 weeks. The healing process increases with age. After the procedure, the skin tissue swells slightly, but the swelling disappears within a few hours, so you can return to your normal activities the same day. The colour of the eye line is brighter for the first two days, but by the third day, the skin in the treatment area may start to feel scratchy, dry and itchy. To reduce discomfort, it is recommended to moisturise the skin in the treatment area 1-4 times a day with the prescribed ointment. On day 5-7, the chaffing disappears and the contour becomes more natural. The colour becomes more intense and the final result can be seen after about 2 weeks.
During the healing period, the skin should be protected from sunlight and it is advisable to use SPF50 sunscreen when outdoors.
What kind of result can I expect?
The final result of the procedure depends on the technique chosen, the shape of your eyes and other factors. However, we assure you that it will look graceful, subtle and delicate without being distracting. Modern equipment, quality pigments and the experience of our specialists will ensure the result you are dreaming of. The aim of our professional specialists is to follow the prevailing trends in natural hair to create an effect that makes people notice that you look more gorgeous and attractive, but not understand why. High-quality permanent make-up is unobtrusive – no harsh lines, just soft and graceful contours, the right colour for your skin type and tone, emphasising your natural beauty. Professionally done, eye line make-up gives your eyes a more expressive, mysterious and seductive look, and your face a more youthful appearance.
Sometimes several treatments may be required to achieve the desired result.
How long will the results be visible?
The length of time it takes to see the results of a micropigmentation procedure depends on the materials used, the shade and intensity of the pigment, the technique used, the individual skin characteristics and lifestyle – exposure to the sun, use of cosmetic products, etc. The results can normally be enjoyed for 1.5-2 years, after which a repeat procedure can be performed.
To preserve the intensity of the colour for as long as possible, it is essential to use UV protection (SPF50 recommended) when outdoors.
